I've got a vintage lomo LC-A and would really like to know what flash to buy for it?

I've tried it with a Canon speedlite 244t which doesn't seem to effort. I was wondering if anyone had any advice on what would? Not sold on the coloursplash, pretty overpriced and unnecessary, and I'd rather an old style flash. Would be great if anyone could advise!
